OTHER EVALUATIONS & LETTERS

 In addition to VA-related services, I provide independent psychological evaluations and opinion letters on a self-pay basis for individuals, attorneys, agencies, and organizations.

These services are consultative or forensic in nature and are distinct from psychotherapy.  Fees are determined based on the scope and complexity of the evaluation. 

 I provide comprehensive psychological evaluations when clinically and ethically appropriate, which may include:

• Intellectual (IQ) testing
• ADHD evaluations
• Learning disability assessment
• Personality assessment
• Memory/cognitive screening 

Assessments are tailored to the referral question and may involve records review, testing, and a written report.

 I provide psychological clearance evaluations for certain medical and surgical procedures, including:

• Bariatric surgery psychological clearance
• Spinal cord stimulator or spinal surgery clearance
• These evaluations assess psychological readiness and risk factors relevant to the requested procedure.

 I provide fitness-for-duty and psychological clearance evaluations for:

• Law enforcement personnel 
• Military service members
• Safety-sensitive positions 

These evaluations are conducted for administrative or occupational decision-making purposes and are not therapeutic in nature.

 When appropriate, I provide ESA evaluations consistent with federal and professional guidelines. These evaluations are conducted carefully and do not involve automatic approval.
